You can submit the revised and extended version of your paper for possible publication in special issues of high quality journals:

Queueing Systems: Theory and Applications (QUESТА)

Editorial: Sergey Foss

Guest editors: Dmitry Korshunov and Alexander Veretennikov

ISSN: 0257-0130 (print version)
ISSN: 1572-9443 (electronic version)

Queueing Systems: Theory and Applications (QUESTA) is a well-established journal focusing on the theory of resource sharing in a wide sense, particularly within
a network context. The journal is primarily interested in probabilistic and statistical problems in this setting.

QUES welcomes both papers addressing these issues in the context of some application and papers developing mathematical methods for their analysis. Among the latter, one would particularly quote Markov chains and processes, stationary processes, random graphs, point processes, stochastic geometry, and related fields.

The prospective areas of application include, but are not restricted to production, storage and logistics, traffic and transportation, computer and communication systems.

Markov Processes And Related Fields

Editor-in-Chief: V.A. Malyshev

ISSN 1024-2953

The Journal focuses  on mathematical modelling of today’s enormous wealth of problems from modern technology, like artificial intelligence, large scale networks, data bases, parallel simulation, computer architectures, etc.

Modern Stochastics: Theory and Applications (MSTA)

Editor-in-Chief: Kęstutis Kubilius, Yuliya Mishura

ISSN: 2351-6054

Focus and Scope:

MSTA publishes original research papers of highest quality in modern stochastics including

  • probability theory
  • mathematical statistics
  • theory of stochastic processes and random fields
  • stochastic analysis and stochastic differential equations
  • probabilistic aspects of fractal analysis
  • stochastic geometry

and various applied fields such as

  • financial mathematics
  • actuarial mathematics and risk theory
  • applications in economics, biology, physics, engineering
  • optimization and control

With broad coverage of probability and statistics topics, we welcome original papers to present the deepest and highly innovative results, new tools, ideas and methods with rigorous mathematical background, and also with a great potential for practical applications. Journal will accept only papers of sufficiently high quality both in terms of scientific contents and the presentation of the results (including the graphical aspect of the work). The journal welcomes articles of interdisciplinary nature.

Reliability: Theory & Applications (RT&A)

Editor-in-Chief: Rykov, Vladimir (Russia)

Electronic Journal Reliability: Theory & Applications has been publishing by Gnedenko Forum since January 2006.  The Journal covers various fields of Risk Analysis (reliability, safety, security, survivability, anti-terrorism defensive ability, quality control, reliability testing, queuing models, and other related topics). Theoretical and applied papers, reviews, memoirs, and bibliographical materials on the topics can be subjects of publication. Purely theoretical papers have to contain new problems and/or new solutions, finger practical applications and should not be overloaded with clumsy formal materials. Priority is given to clear practical applications and case studies. Papers presented for publication are directed to the members of the Editorial Board for refereeing with exceptions only for papers presented by Associate Editors who can personally recommend papers for publication.

Publication in Electronic Journal Reliability: Theory & Applications is equal to publication in other International scientific journals.

Voprosy Istorii Estestvoznaniia i Tekhniki [Studies in History of Science and Technology])

Editor-in-Chief: Dmitry A. Bayuk (Russia)

Founded in 1980, the journal Voprosy istorii estestvoznaniia i tekhniki (VIET) is published by the Nauka publishing house with the participation of S. I. Vavilov Institute for the History of Science and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal is chiefly dedicated to the history of science and technology, but also covers such areas of knowledge as science of science and philosophy of science and technology. VIET publishes articles and brief scientific reports that contain results of original research (main sections – “General Problems in the History of Science and Technology”, “From the History of Science”, “Social History of Science”, “From the History of Technology”, “Lessons from History”, “Materials for the Biographies of Scientists and Engineers”, “Institutions and Museums”, archival documents, memoirs and readers’ letters, as well as reviews of books and information materials relating to the life of the Russian community of historians of science and technology. The journal is published quarterly and is included in the “List of Peer-reviewed Scientific Periodicals” of the Higher Attestation Commission.

The year of special issue is 2019. Authors will be informed.

With or without a Program Committee advice, the authors will be fully responsible (although, the authors are welcome to follow PC recommendations) for their submissions including the choice of a Journal and the usage of Journals’ templates.

Note that the way to submit depends on each Journal. All papers will be refereed in a usual way.

To submit a document for publication in the journal, follow the instructions on the corresponding journal’s web page. It should not be the same submission (not 3-5 pages!!!), which you have submitted to programm committee for consideration!!!

The deadlines

10.01.2018 for QUESТА and 31.01.2018 for MSTA

30.11.2017  for RT&A
